Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Vartalaap.com (“we”, “us”) collects and why. We aim to collect as little as possible.
1. Information you give us
When you submit a form (coach matching, contest entry, contribution pledge, job application, partnership enquiry, newsletter or contact), we receive the details you enter, such as name, email, phone number, city, goals and messages. Forms are delivered to our private inbox through a third-party form-processing service (FormSubmit). We use this information only to respond to you and provide what you asked for.
Coach matching: if you request a demo class, we share your enquiry with the one coach or coaching partner matched to you, solely to arrange that class. We do not sell your personal information.
2. Speech and practice data
Speaking features use your browser's built-in Web Speech API. Depending on your browser, speech may be processed by your browser provider (for example Google for Chrome or Apple for Safari) to convert it to text. Vartalaap does not receive, upload or store your audio or transcripts. Practice data such as saved phrases, scores, streaks and your level-test result are stored only in your browser's local storage. Your level-test result is attached to a coach request only if you submit that form.
3. Cookies and advertising
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to our site and/or other sites on the Internet. 4. Embedded content
Videos are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode and load only when you click play. Fonts load from Google Fonts. These services may collect technical data under their own policies.
5. Retention and security
We keep enquiries only as long as needed to respond and for reasonable record-keeping, normally no longer than 24 months. We use reputable providers and HTTPS, but no online transmission is completely secure.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, using the contact form (topic: Privacy request). Depending on where you live (for example under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, the GDPR or Canadian privacy law) you may have additional rights, including the right to complain to a regulator.
7. Children
Vartalaap is intended for users aged 13 and over. Users under 18 should use forms only with a parent or guardian's permission. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
